IV TOLK FOLK
For the second time (without alcohol) Tolkien fans met at The Town Park for the IV TOLK FOLK event. The aim of the event was to create a map of The Middle Earth. Topographical project was prepared by Barahir and invaluable Namelless brought a trunk full of moss. On the pictures you can see how the map was created. II Hobbit Run took place. The rules of the run have been a little modified. ( Great thanks to all of those who helped us to prepare the routs ). And then there were concerts: a nice concert of FAUNS - a German band, a performence by Jacek Wanszewicz who presented some fragments of "The Lord of Rings" and at the end guests from Italy - LINGALAD Band. The event was finished with a staging called " Meeting of Frod and Sam with Shelob" However the most popular were the meetings of John T. fans. Most of the fans know each other thanks to Internet. Mutual talks lasted and lasted...and local Rivendell ( situated in "Leony Dworek" Cottage ) was full of chatting until late afternoon. More information on IV TOLK FOLK you can find on Tolkien's Forum.
